Educational Assessments
Kids & Co Clinical Psychology offers comprehensive Educational Assessments and Psychometric testing (IQ) for children and adolescents with a range of academic and learning issues, including giftedness and difficulties in reading, maths, working memory, and attention and concentration. Assessments are conducted by Psychologists experienced in educational and developmental assessments.
Educational assessments enable parents to clarify the nature of their child's difficulties and equip parents with practical evidence-based strategies to help improve their child's functioning and to help them achieve their full potential. Once the assessment is completed, parents are invited into the clinic for feedback about the results and are also provided with an elaborate report detailing the assessment. At this time, information is given to parents as to ways to assist their child with the difficulties they may be experiencing. Schools are also provided with detailed reports outlining the child's strengths and weaknesses. This report also provides strategies and intervention plans to help remediate the child's difficulties in the classroom.
